It allows me to adjust red into either blue or green so I can tell, for example, something red and green apart. You can also use it to show other people what it's like to be color blind

2024-10-04 22:44:40 +0000 UTCI like Sanderson a lot, and have read pretty much everything he's written, but since Cody also mentioned The Expanse, I would put out Steven Erickson's (and Ian Cameron Esslemont's) 10 book saga, Malazan Book of the Fallen. Much deeper lore, philosophy, and rumination of various societal woes, and maybe how compassion is ultimately the answer (something I think GRRM fails at). Very much the fantasy version of the Expanse, also enjoyed by friend of the show, Robert Evans! For sci-fi, I'd recommend pretty much everything by Adrian Tchaikovsky, but especially his Children of Time trilogy.
