Cody et al, thank you for putting out a popular opinion and information backed piece against these issues with right to repair. I watched a recent video from "Technology Connections" where someone who has some knowledge of physics, chemistry, and electronics thinks they know whats good for economics, but they have an ayn rand view and said light buld monopolies helped the USA because it helped regulate industry standards, instead of using representation (per our constitution) to help decide it. So this makes me feel better about the world that something sensical with evidence behind it is in there. I normally agree with many of the opinions on this show, 90% of the time, I think some people may be grinding against the right to repair viewpoint though, so maybe a little more information on why monopolies (over repair in this case) are bad in this episode would've helped tip some people more over to your side.

So, warmbo(s) are literal children of the corn, spawned from fetid pools of cream corn? Some sort of allegorical monster to represent destructive agricultural practices, appearing like a benign annoyance at first but ultimately being some sort of Eldritch horror?
