Kanye. Elon. Trump. And EVEN MORE Freaky Weirdos - AD FREE

Hi. On today's episode, Some More News director Will Gordh (@will_gordh) joins Katy and Cody to talk about the right's disgusting reaction to the Club Q shooting, Ye's budding friendship with a white supremacist, the pair's dinner with Donald Trump, the Biden administration's efforts to force rail workers to accept a contract they had rejected, and, of course, Elon Musk's brief feud with Apple.

Katy, these dog holidays are all just traps to get free pictures of your dog. Like an old school cartoon where they lay out a plate of food then drop a thing down on the target, i feel this is a Tom and Jerry skit.

"When people tell you who they are, you should believe them." This is why I consistently rail against corporate and neoliberal democrats, because they stand firmly in the way of any meaningful progress at every opportunity. Edit: I wish I could leave it at that, but I can't. The U.S. for almost the entire past half-century (actually, thinking about it further, since the turn of the 20th century, around the 1890s) has consistently rejected policy that would bring long-term prosperity and growth in favor of short term gains for the plutocracy. It happens consistently regardless of who is in power and the "two teams" strategy has worked wonders for keeping those who want to perpetuate this imperialist, neo-feudalism holding the reigns. It's only recently, with the advent of multitudes of ways to easily record and report factual events, that this power structure has been legitimately threatened and now we're dealing with a multi-pronged attack to reconsolidate the power and control of the elite. That's why they have to frame the discussion about the rail workers this way on the media, because it normalizes the serfdom. "Know your place, peasants, lest we stir discontent among your ranks (clubQ), revoke your rations (food inflation, majority of price increase is pure profit), and decrease your wages (no unions)." It's intentional, not because some shadowy group pulls strings, but because a lot of individual people with wealth and power want to keep their wealth and power and these systems designed to squeeze and punish help them do that. We can't fix stuff because the ideas and methods to fix stuff involve the aristocracy giving up some of their control and wealth, so any perspectives that challenge that must not be discussed. "The rail workers were at fault for wanting PTO and that's the only perspective allowed. We can't threaten the economy over small stuff like paid leave. Now, excuse us while we threaten government shutdown over raising the debt ceiling, because playing chicken with the global economy plays well on polls."
