You guys were really just deeply, cringingly wrong about Depp and Heard. I hope you took the time to look into it. I only got interested in the trial because I was sure the internet mob was wrong. I watched all the pertinent footage to get caught up and watched the last few days of the trial and it was pretty clear that the verdict was fair. There actually was no contradiction at all. Lots of actual evidence (people getting selfies with Johnny) of him looking beat up but not a single one of her with bruises that wasn’t edited and really conveniently placed on the cheek bones (and conveniently timed with TMZ… and magically disappeared the next day in a paparazzi shot). Whether or not he ever self-defended, it’s clear that she was the abuser and a bizarrely blatant pathological liar.
