No, really. Dave just knocked it out of the park on this episode. I really appreciated his pushback against the criticism of the writer of that article. I was already frustrated with people bashing the journalist on Twitter. And what Dace said about the Mich Mcconnell story really encapsulated my feelings too. Everyone keeps on acting like it’s such this crazy, mask off moment. But we already knew who he was! Everyone did! I don’t think Mitch will lose a single vote over what he said. And all of those outraged right now will have completely forgotten about it in a year. I get that i’m supposed to be mad about it but like… why should I give a shit? The real problem is the racist judges McConnell appoints in Kentucky and the racist policies he helps implement in the Senate, not some racist, totally unsurprising gaffe…

Judging from what the journalist said on NPR’s Consider This, I really really don’t think she sympathizes with Whedon. And btw, the journalist was a “she” not a “he”. Just a friendly FYI :-) I really appreciated Dave in this episode…. He might actually be my favorite guest now
