[Devlog: July 2024]

Hello everyone, 

I’m TFG Assistant, True Facials’ community manager. I’ve been working with the team to process your messages and feedback during development. This is the first entry of our Devlogs, which aims to provide you guys with updates on project progress and the team’s responses to your feedback.

[Devlog: July 2024]

Development Progress: 

• GPU Optimization work has been ongoing in order to improve performance on a wider range of systems. Many thanks to the detailed feedback from our community. 

• Bugs have also been identified by both the community and the team. We try to identify the most annoying ones and will fix them first.

• We are almost done porting the first batch of both legacy and new models. A lot of work is aimed at improving workflow so more models can be added in at the higher quality standard of v0.5 and faster. Scenes will also be updated/replaced to fit this standard.

• A lot of feedback on missing features from v0.42 is taken very seriously. Many are very impactful on the experience and we are working to bring them back. Some feedbacks also brought up new interesting features, we try to implement ones that are easier first, and some will be incorporated into bigger features later on. 

• New story content is also coming together, with preparation for the introduction of new features and casts in the future.

• A lot of time is also dedicated to polishing the experience, along with many other fixes and improvements that will be detailed on release.

Release date: v0.5 is on track to be released early next month.

[Community Content Appreciation]

We are also thrilled to see the new content from our community for the first time, especially from HeartGrenade & Tap3aH. 

With our story system, they’ve created scenes and mechanics with ridiculous quality. Considering the current limitations, It is only with their exceptional talent and effort that made it possible. Seeing this was a great boost to our morale and also provided us with valuable insights into how we can further develop the system. Thank you very much for your contributions, and we hope to see more of your amazing work in future versions of TF.
