2021-09-10 20:07:11 +0000 UTCOne thing about the Supreme Court and Roe v Wade in particular I had explained to me a long while back that I thought I'd share... so in this case, long standing court precedent like this that has no federal congressional action on it is unlikely to hold because it then diminishes the power of the court. Most justices don't want to see that happen, and that's why it's tough to get the Supreme Court to overturn shit without any other branch's support. Whether that holds true on this, hard to say but I can't imagine the justices being eager to give up power when they get to be in the court for life.
