Fired _after_ the pandemic because of the pandemic. So the company doesn't have to pay in more in unemployment taxes!

I'm 66, mentally disabled/medicated, physically limited, no vehicle, and HUD/VASH stopped calling me back with voucher news so I have no clue if I got one (prob, eventually) or how much rent I can pay (impossible) to search except for what I can afford with my income only. SSDI, a little less than $1K/mo. Rents 95650 Placer County start $1200/mo. So, nothing. Putting my all in storage, my 2 indoor cats in carriers, taking an overstuffed go bag and being homeless but with enough money to Motel 6 or something. I'll be looking for a place from inside that room. A month there eats deposit money. First, last, deposit, gone by 2 months. Stuck, in cheaper motel. Or not. I'm vaxxed so maybe I'll win a million! Love you!
