the gist of it is, you need everyone paying into the same system to fund it properly and maintain quality. if the super rich cut out from the system, then they are building a separate tiered system apart from the medicare for all system and they aren't paying into it. basically if they can get an out to use their money to get better care than other people they will, but if they have to take part in the universal system they'll have to improve the system to improve their own care.

2019-10-22 14:51:10 +0000 UTCYou might address this, I'm only 11 mins in, but on the questions directed at warren front, keep in mind that when someone's name is specifically called out they get an opportunity to respond. while it may seem like the moderators were leaning toward targeting warren, they are also teeing her up to have more of an opportunity to speak and respond. they specifically didn't do that to sanders this time and as a result he didn't have as much time.

2019-10-22 14:48:34 +0000 UTCYou've said a couple times that someone needs to lay out why any sort of Medicare for some plan wouldn't work and it needs to be Medicare for all & I'm sorry if I've maybe missed this on some other episode but would it be possible for you to try to explain that on the show? I think I have the idea of why that is but I'm worried I'm maybe missing something.
