I probably didn’t explain it better but If the intro is in Japanese then it’s a silly/crazy episode. The normal English version is where we have the more plot/serious episodes.

I know they didn’t mention it but that’s because don’t expect this show to bring in major DC characters like Batman or Superman. It’s because around the time the show was made, there was an embargo where certain characters can’t appear in multiple projects at the same time. One of the reasons being that Warner Bros was under the mindset that the audience would be confused that they’re all the same version. A example would be if Batman showed up in Teen Titans but viewers might believe it’s the same version from say the Justice League cartoon that was airing around the same time but both series aren’t connected. It’s dumb tbh lol. Also at the end of the day, the writers clearly wanted to have the show mainly about The Titans which makes sense. The embargo isn’t a thing anymore but it was a ridiculous rule lol.
