2025-03-15 20:55:53 +0000 UTCI think the reason (outside the zentopia arc) celestial wizards are dying out is because it's implied to be a hereditary form of magic (i.e. Lucy's mother was a celestial wizard); and since most people don't have gold keys (Lucy and Yukino, and formerly Layla, Angel, and Karen are the only we know have used them) they may be more susceptible to dying in battle -- considering most of the silver keys we've seen are not particularly powerful. (re: they die before having children/don't have a child that can use the same power)
