It's shifty because Lucy shouldn't have lost outright. She had every advantage against Flare but because of dirty tricks and outside help she won. Even worse despite most of the skilled wizards realizing Raven tail cheated, they have no evidence and the timing they cheated made it look like Lucy just casted a spell she couldn't control. So to most people it wouldn't seem odd that it failed. And unfortunately, it's going to get a lot worse for Lucy. This arc in particular rough with her.

2025-02-28 23:48:17 +0000 UTCI am a big Natsu and Lucy shipper, and I have to say this is one of the cutest moments between them, but there are more moments to come in this arc. I just love how Lucy didn't really have to say anything for Natsu to jump into action, and I love how Natsu just casually goes and picks her up when she is down about losing and tells her how amazing and hard she fought to show that Fairy Tail is not one to laugh despite that she lost. They just so cute together

2025-02-13 20:40:00 +0000 UTCas a huge lucy fan, this ep has always been scarring. its always been one of the hardest to watch for me bc like she really does show off her magic, her power and SHOULD have won. like for everyone that knows her, they know this was actually a really big moment for her and to have so many underhanded things thrown at her without any one calling the cheating out, is so frustrating. but dont worry, things are about to heat up!

2025-02-07 04:01:26 +0000 UTCMY GIRL 😭 It’s moment that like this that really annoy me as a Lucy fan. Cause SHE IS powerful, SHE IS capable of whooping some people. But the show continuously likes to beat her down 😭 she has some really good moments but she also looses soo much 😭

I find most reasons to be related to fan service, or her being a new wizard and people not understanding that shes growing with her team and learning from each adventure.

I don't really like Lucy, but I don't like her taking a beating and none of her friends questioning why or actively trying to figure it out. I mean, it can't be easy to see exactly what's going on from the audience but it's still pretty messed up that she had to just give up basically and everyone just watched her get thrashed
