Today I will be releasing an illustration of Melda from "Yamato 2199".
I drew this illustration about 10 years ago.
I used to often draw fan art of characters from anime and games that I was into, but lately, perhaps because I'm getting older, there aren't any works that I'm into, so I've started drawing less fan art.

今日は「ヤマト2199」からメルダのイラストを公開します。
このイラストも描いたのは１０年ぐらい前ですね。
昔はハマったアニメやゲームのキャラクターのファンアートをよく描いていましたが、最近は歳のせいかハマれるような作品が無くファンアートを描くことも減ってきましたね。

I definitely miss the 80s and 90s styles too. Thankfully Homare-san keeps his style closer to that feel.

2023-09-22 10:59:46 +0000 UTCI feel the same about anime nowadays. I think one of the reasons is the changing different trends and topics. Today they made less science-fiction animes and grown women and there are lots of Isekai animes with childish characters.
