I think Mob, couldn't use the parts because when Reagan tried to look through the camera it was blank. I'm guessing it takes being able to see spirits. Also I don't thinkhe is so much fake but really weak because he can see them and said he has fought them one on one and had a really hard time. He's just never run into anything powerful enough to really grow. I could see the Yo Kai hunter could be useful as a lore type character that gives the agency jubs and pays them well, not a major character in the slightest but an occasional even mention for a job.
