Hersh specifically said several times that the story _isn’t hard to understand_ and stands on its own. He refused to speculate or delve into psychoanalysis, and I think that’s to be commended. On the other hand, perhaps it’s a good sign it was so polarizing. Well done and well earned, you guys! You should be proud.
