As far as the whole Egyptian episode goes it's interesting because most archaeological evidence actually suggests that it wasn't slaves who built the pyramids and that it was actually a respected position with some workers even being given the honor to be buried near one.

As far as the Native American stuff goes I'm a 1/4 Native American/First Nations (For those unfamiliar First Nations is just the Canadian equivalent of Native Americans) and the episode didn't offend me. I will say the accents may have been a little over the top, but that's pretty minor. I mean the exchanging for a bead thing is clearly a reference to Manhattan island being bought for trinkets so it makes sense. Though admittedly I may not be the best judge as my dad who was 1/2 Native American grew up on a reservation and hated it and left and never really looked back.
