After having been inspired by Spiderman's bravery he gets enlisted in a special branch of the government and is eventually given the Venom symbiote and becomes Agent Venom, a heroic version of Venom and all.

I’m happy you’re watching this, it gets better from here, one thing I love about the show is how the writers had it based and took elements from the comics in terms of characters and storylines but like all adaptions still made it it’s own thing. For example how Peter met Mary Jane and the line she said was rip from the pages of the book. This and the show: Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are consider by many to be the best two Marvel cartoons by storytelling and respect to the characters and the stories they are in :D
