Speaking of an older adventure style series if you hadn't heard they are rebooting Shaman King sometime next year, this time following much closer to the manga. While I didn't dislike the original series I think keeping closer to the manga will be better.

2020-11-22 17:22:49 +0000 UTCI can definitely see what you mean with the pokemon and yu gi oh comparison, it has that early 2000s adventure anime feel, makes sense given the manga started around that time. I've always had a soft spot for older journey focused series e.g. Dragonball, Inuyasha, pokemon, I grew up watching a lot of them so they're special to me lol.
