The way they handle Catra is very effective. At the end of S4, she had been deconstructed. Stripped of ego, nearly reaching her aspirations but finding it bitter and hollow, and out of people to blame. She could only look within, and she hated what she saw. Here, she attempts to reestablish her status quo, and it doesn’t work. Her manipulations won’t work, there’s no hierarchy to climb. It’s impossible to distract herself from her problems. It’s very believable that a turnaround is possible. I wondered how they could possibly walk back the horrible things she’s done, but this works.

Being socially inept and not fully processing your emotions or the emotions of those around you is almost trademarked as Autistic Spectrum Disorder characteristics. I really enjoyed how they developed that in Entrapta. Also, not much of a spoil, but you will be CRYING LIKE A BANSHEE on the last episode. It’s the series finale, were you expecting anything else?

Kind of an introduction to let people set everything in place a little bit easier sync things up lol. just a suggestion, please don;t be mad.
