2025-08-08 15:41:27 +0000 UTCIn the second preview, I find it pretty clever how their faces are obscured. I can’t get a good read on Bri. She looks upset, but she’s waving them goodbye? I find the guys’ body language to be quite funny. They look flabbergasted by maybe something Bri said? or her new attitude? The girl from up North visiting the Reeds family looks like it’s going to be a cool scene. I like the previews they hint at an interesting chapter.

I get that most of the women will get that treatment, because Samrend probably has that preference. But I like that Samrend still keeps some somewhat normal proportioned women around in his stories. And about Ari: I wouldn't be surprised if she gets a similar arch like Ali, like first she is the annoying younger sister but after getting a serious earful she turns nice and suddenly grows like crazy. It seems to be a trope that Samrend likes.

2025-08-07 22:08:40 +0000 UTCI'm curious to know everyone's favorite characters. I'm kind of surprised myself by the gals I've developed the strongest affinity for. I really like Katherine. Her model is unique and lovely, and I've really enjoyed her reactions to her growth, going from exasperated by the inconvenience, to starting to feel a bit of pride when she realizes it gives her an edge over Serena. Looking forward to more of her. I like how hot and cold Noe can be. How she vacillates back and forth between scary and sweet. I didn't expect Els to be as important a character as she has become, but her assertiveness is disarming and fun. Min Lu feels like a character with a lot of potential, however I'm still waiting to see if she gets any spotlight down the road. Ari feels very similar to Ali from Back to School (young, petulant, driven), and I think the competition between she, her mother and sisters offers a lot of opportunity for drama.
