1. Patreon Reminder

We would like to remind you now that it is November that the Apple app is adding a new fee for any new subscribers who purchase their subscription through the iOS app. This extra fee brings up the cost of each subscription by 30%.

If you are considering becoming a new Patreon subscriber, of if you left your subscription and are considering re-joining, we highly recommend avoiding this extra fee by simply purchasing a subscription on mobile browser or desktop, and NOT in the iOS Patreon App!

2. Patreon Update

The other thing we would like to let you know in advance is a small change we're making to our tiers. In order to make sure that the tiers are receiving more content heading into 2025 we've decided to condense our Outlaw and Mercenary tiers in to one, taking our option of four subscription tiers down to three, which will look like this from December 2024 onwards:

Stowaway
$2 / month
This tier is the 'tip jar'. A way for those of you who love our work to support us by giving a little each month.
It also includes:
• Exclusive polls and early announcements
• A special role and access to a private chatroom on our Discord server
• The ability to leave comments on public posts

Crewmate
$5 / month
• Access to the Patreon mini-story, Birthday Surprise
• Access to the Andromeda Six Beta Build
• WIP game art including sprites, backgrounds, and CGs
• Universe and character lore
• Early music access
• Special Discord Role

Mercenary
$10 / month
• Behind the scenes spoilers including early planning and references
• View final game art before release including sprites, backgrounds, and CGs
• Sneak peeks of upcoming content from the game
• Special Discord Role

This change will make it easier for us to organise and streamline which content is being posted for each tier, and should make it easier for potential patrons to choose the subscription that best fits them.

These changes will come into effect from December 1st 2024, so if you are currently a member on our $15 Mercenary tier we recommend changing your pledge to one of the others before this date, and we will work on tidying up our posts and ensuring they have the correct accessibility.
