You were right the first time Zamber, its something he specifically shows Nagisa. His comment about at first glance is supposed to be kind of a hint about how Nagisa looks harmless but is very good. It plays off of the times earlier where Nagisa has shown his skills. Like when he snuck up on the teacher and they showed the snake and when he took out the abusive teacher with the knife. It's his seeming unassuming that makes him so special. Kinda like he can hide his intentions.
