Moons: 3 (Netaa, Calenn, Anwen)
Climate: Diverse
Terrain: Lush, various native flora and fauna, plenty of water -- oceans, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, some snowy areas.
Council: Eons
Major Organisations: Ne'foe University
The ancestral home of the Tilaari species, Tilaarin is an idyllic planet that is as rich in culture and spirit as it is in science and medical studies. As the largest planet in the Seleota System, Tilaarin has been a powerful ally of the reigning monarchs for many centuries -- though would also make a powerful enemy if crossed.
Instead of cities and towns, the planet of Tilaarin is divided into Spires -- massive buildings that tower high above the clouds. These Spires can house large populations, equivalent to those that may be found in cities on other planets, and also contain the planet's schools, hospitals, temples, restaurants, and other important places.
The Tilaari have long been a spiritual species, and today some of them still practice the customs and traditions of their ancestors, while others dedicate themselves to science and engineering, and the future of their planet.
Some of the most notable Spires on Tilaarin are:
Isil: The largest Spire on the planet, and the home of the Council of Eons and its members.
Ne'foe: The second-largest Spire behind Isil, Ne'foe houses the well-known Ne'foe University, the most prestigious school on the planet, and where many Tilaari strive to study in the fields of science and medicine.
Llan: Llan houses the largest temple on the planet and corresponds directly with the Temple of Iachaol on Netaa -- their holy moon, and once believed to be the home of their Prime Goddess, Tu'lira.
++++
For many years now, Tilaarin has been cloaked in secrecy, keeping only to themselves and refusing to be dragged into the affairs of the other planets and their problems. Many in Seleota look on Tilaarin with disdain for their unwillingness to help the common people, and the Tilaari who travel outside their home-planet often become the victims of prejudice and blame.
With the Usurper, Jes Zovack, now on the throne, many eyes are fixed on Tilaarin -- a powerhouse in its own right -- and whether the planet will remain an ally to the Crown, or fight for its independence.
Whichever outcome the planet chooses will have the potential to sway others in the System... a fact that Jes Zovack is all too aware of.
