We're working on a little something something for you guys as your second reward (as the first one isn't even ready yet because this has been so sudden! ;-; <3), but we need your help to decide!

For the first reward, you're getting special art for the two winners of the first poll (Damon and June), so for the second reward, you're getting a special story for two characters!
The story will be about the events leading up to the crew running into your Traveler in Goldis, showing their thoughts and mindset as they entered Silta Vie and found out that they were much too late to stop the coup.
But no poll this time! We want to know why you'd like X and Y characters for this reward. Give us a name, or two, and the reason why you want to know more about them, about how they felt during the coup, about what their thoughts were... convince us to pick your fave ;)
We feel this is a great opportunity to better understand what you like about our characters and what draws you to them, so don't hesitate to let us know on the comments below! All opinions are valid, and we will go through them all! :D
As we're working super hard on the DLC this week, we'll leave the comments open until the start of next week (maybe even a bit more, but it will all depend), so be sure to give us your two cents on this!
Edit: no Vexx (or Oppo) yet! This came a lot sooner than we were expecting so please don't ask for Vexx as we don't want to spoil his involvement on this event yet - and Oppo wasn't with the crew at the time, so it wouldn't have much context. (thanks Anryela!)

June! For several reasons, some personal, some not. Personal: honestly I find him a really refreshing character and one of the main reason I'm so excited for the next installment of the game. He's got a lot in his past and we only know so much, it would be so interesting to hear how he thought about that critical moment, especially since he's the reason the Traveler is on the ship at all. What took up most of his attention once he realized what happened? Any more June content gets me hungry for more. Less personal: I don't know why June is on the crew. Like, I can point very easily to the (at least surface level) reason the rest of the crew stays on board. They each have a clear role critical to keeping the ship afloat. What is June's? Why, if he's so opposed to violence, is he committed to staying with this ship in particular? What does being part of the crew mean to him? Was he with everyone for personal reasons? Because he felt he had to be? Because he had nowhere else to go? Was he on board because he knew they would try to prevent the coup? Does he have a stake in the politics surrounding Zovack? I gotta know!

2020-02-27 21:25:42 +0000 UTCAs everyone has stated above, from a logical perspective, Cal, Ayame, and June seem to be the most interesting choices because of their history (that we know of) on Goldis or interaction with MC... And I'm sure there's a chance that Ryona visited with the Archangels, or Damon if he and Cal happened to meet in Goldis and not Cursa (or his Zovack connection)... But?? I'm voting for Bash, because. I want more Bash! And maybe he has opinions on Goldis, although if not it could also be interesting from an outsider's perspective. Also agree with UniverseG -- would love to know more about Bash's thoughts on Zovack and if he's dealing well with his past internally in addition to projecting his fairly carefree persona. Which maybe he is! At least, I hope so, but... : ' ) My second vote is also going to Cal then, for the reasons above and also... did he just forget about his moms. cal, i hope u didnt. ur mothers, cal. please. i want to make sure the moms are ok and hope that good parents get to survive, sometimes, in a6. p l e a s e . (and congrats on reaching your second milestone and all the hard work you guys have been putting in to get here!!)

He seemed to have the most skin in the game of all the crew regarding Goldis and Zovack, but also because he's one of the harder to read characters, so getting in his head is always fun. Second choice would go to June, mostly because as he was the one who rescued the traveler, it would be interested in seeing how that whole scene went down from his point of view. (and to further convince you I didn't actually vote for my character preference favs! I'm voting for the ones who I think have the most interesting story to tell regarding these particular events. I picked Damon and Vexx in the previous poll xD )

2020-02-05 19:40:38 +0000 UTCHe's not my fav but honestly, my vote goes to Cal for the same reason as many have stated, he's from Goldis, he knows Zovack, his grudge and his background make me REALLY want to see what went through his head going back. I'm not totally convinced I'll see anything surprising if we see his perspective, but I'd like to be surprised! And my second vote goes to Bash, partially because I wanna if he'd have a more serious, darker narrative in his head than what he usually portrays. I believe you said that everyone on the crew has been affected by Zovack's actions/prescence, so I'd also like to see if we get any hints as to how Bash feels about him /the whole thing.

I'm interested in him for this reward because, based on what I've seen in the game so far, going back to Goldis was the last thing he'd want to do and I'm always interested in why people do things that, if left entirely to their own devices and preferences, they wouldn't do...also I have this thing where I enjoy seeing the characters that are usually call, cool, and collected in situations where they don't have the control they like to have.

As for the poll.. well, I see many people who already explained better than I could, but I’d like to see Calderon, because he lived on Goldis, and because of his involvment in Zovack story/coup, so I’d like to know more about his point of view in the middle of chaos. As second, I’d say June. He’s the one who rescued us so, of course, I’m curious to know how that happened and what were his thoughts. (Plus, a reason that is worth for both of them, is that I love ‘em with all my heart, but I don’t think it’s valid) Thank you so much for all your hard work and the appreciation you give us. If we love the game so much is also because of it’s amazing creators!

I can imagine why Aya and Damon would stick with Cal through this, but how does June feel about it all? he doesn't like the violence but would the chaos and fighting bring him back to his time on Orion? remind him of everything he did after he lost his twin? baby boy...

I want to understand him more 🥺 , so I choose cal 💛 . Also Ayame , maybe she isn’t from goldis but she lived , lost her brother and met cal there , I am curious about how she felt during it

I want to see more of that, especially as Aya gets less love than the guys. (I mostly just want to read the panic for them racing to bring the information to Goldis, and finding the Traveler on the way)
