For this month I wanted to give you a sketchbook tour of my latest finished sketchbook, which might be my favorite one yet✨ Most of the sketches I've done in here have been previously shared with you here, but still I think this sketchbook deserves a video🌻
I will be working on a digital version as well!I know this is a short video but I need a little break from time to time, so you'll have an instructive video next month💛

Hi Inge! I'm sure all of us who use skecthbooks can relate to what you're saying. I suffered from this for so long, and not gonna lie, I think it still happens when I work with my regular "portrait" sketchbooks. But since I started this "studies" sketchbooks, knowing I had the freedom to mess up, I realized the drawings turned out even better when I had no pressure on. Also, I love to see the variaty of themes and studies I did in the same place. So, I really recommend you to try this "separate sketchbook where you can make fails"🤣 because you'll be suprised at yourself, I'm sure! Also, I'm so glad to know my work inspires you💗

I really need to find a way to get over the “sketchbook hurdle.” I have this weird thing where I’m afraid to mess up the sketchbook, but then I don’t want to draw on a piece of printer paper either, because I know I would regret it if the drawing turned out good. Too often, I end up not drawing because of this. 🙈 It’s so silly.

I use some paper or plastic rectangles and place them between the first 5-6 pages that go before the page I'm using at that moment (I hope I explained myself). You could also place a paper/plastic between every page of the sketchbook but I don't think it's necessary✨
