Raine - CW: blood
Added 2022-07-29 16:58:46 +0000 UTCSo in dnd the boys have been sent on a mission in a vampire/undead/werewolves land. Last session they were ’exploring’ a haunted house practically all night, only for it to turn out that the house was an illusion created by the ‘grave guards’ of this land. They offer for the boys to submit and join them, but the boys refuse. A fight breaks out, we are very quickly made aware that these grave guards are waaay above our level.
One of the two grave guards is a headless knight, and he decided Raine’s head was good looking enough to steal for himself. He brings his great sword down on Raine’s neck (even with AC 20 the knight hit me TWICE), resulting in Raine’s throat being sliced and him falling unconscious to do death saves.
Thankfully his friends healed him enough to wake him and we were able to make the grave guards leave for now, though by no means did we win.
I wanted to sketch Raine with his throat sliced and blood pouring out.

It was very scary!! They were too strong and everyone has gone after the other grave guard and left Raine to face the knight alone. It wasn’t until they saw him go down did they all turn back to help. I am glad my boy didn’t lose his head haha. Thank you so much!! Expressions are tough, but I am finding it easier to tackle with Raine since I’m more familiar with him
