Passing a humanity check brings a lot of pain. So René shot his father (a horrible man who deserved it), something he was adamant would help him... Would fix him.
However, he didn't feel any better after... in fact he started crying

fdfaf how did I miss this. It's a modern-day game set in Kansas City (where my group is). It's interesting so far because I didn't get an answer when I asked if it would be a Camarilla or Anarch game (I had a couple character concepts that would work best for one or the other), and it turns out it's this really weird set-up where KC is kind of run by a council with Camarilla, Anarch, and Independent representation...but ofc things are more complex and fragile under the surface so I'm interested to see the layers unravel. Also apparently my poor Nos baby is the only Nosferatu in the entire city so she has declared herself de facto primogen (a claim that is sadly unrecognized for now).

The fact that his alter held on to it all and it’s now been exposed to him doesn’t help his mental state in the least. Oh yes, his coterie is quite loving, he has them for support.
