Oath of Vengeance

He unsheathed his sword, knelt on one knee, and placed the sword on the floor in front of him. With one gauntleted hand on the sword, the other on the symbol on his chest he spoke.
From this day forward, I will fight and live to exact Tyr’s divine justice. For the innocent who were wronged by evil and its wicked ways, as one of his dark knights. I swear to uphold this oath and all of its tenants, never to be broken.
Fight the greater evil
No mercy for the wicked
By any means necessary
And restitution
I swear this oath of vengeance.

*Backstory* <3 - totally get wanting to reveal themes as time goes on. Looking forward to more of his hero's journey!

2021-11-19 02:09:07 +0000 UTCI don’t wanna spoil too much cause it’ll be fun to tell you guys about it when the story progresses, but he was a very different type of person until he was betrayed by his closest friend who killed the most important person in his life. He lost the only two who mattered to him and it was an act of evil, so he vowed to stop evil by any means necessary.
