Kdrama Poll for After Suspiscuious Partner 1/4

There’s really no reason to jump in the chatroom just to complain about the winning show. Like… what’s the point? It’s a poll. We vote. That’s it. Simple.
Y’all had me ducking and dodging “My Demon” for months. I bought into the hate… then I actually watched it and bruh—the show is good. I’m not saying it’s deep or groundbreaking, but the visuals are 🔥, the pacing is smooth, and it’s super easy to follow. Just straight-up entertaining. Simple and clean.
That’s why I updated the chat: 2024+ suggestions only. It was getting repetitive collecting older titles, and right after polls closed, folks would push the losing shows like, “Hey, maybe still consider this one?” Nah—we’re keeping it fresh now.
And from my POV—and I’m saying this as someone with zero nostalgia, no emotional connection, and not even a trailer under my belt—why would I be hyped to watch the show that came in 10th? 😂 Naturally, I’m choosing in order: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. That just makes sense.
Also, if a show isn’t winning polls and doesn’t have names like Kim Ji-won, Park Shin Hye, Soo Ae, IU, or Shin Hae-sun? Then yeah, it might be better for me to just watch that solo. Popularity matters when it comes to reactions—point blank.
I watched Eve for Seo Ye-ji, and My 19th Life for Shin Hae-sun. That’s the kind of energy I’m on.
And of course—we’re all fans of different people. 😅 Those are just my personal GOATs. But honorary mentions?
I like the homie from Itaewon Class (the ML), Sang-tae from It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, the ML from Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo, Chief Hong from Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha… But I’m not gonna lie—I don’t even know most of their names like that because I don’t have “interest boards” for them. 😂 I just rock with the characters.
Now, about the chatroom being 2024 suggestions only—that’s just so we can keep it moving forward. And lately, I’ve been picking shows with my wife. If you’re not vibing with those reactions, that’s totally cool. I get it.
But personally, I really enjoy those. It’s a bonding experience, and the energy’s just different. I’m way more relaxed, and I can follow the story better since there’s only one other voice in the room. I’m not trying to keep up with two or three people all talking mid-episode.
When it's three talkative people? I genuinely struggle. I’m already trying to keep up with subtitles, process what I just read, and figure out what someone else just said. If a joke drops or a random thought pops up mid-scene, boom—I’m pulled out of the story. That’s just how my brain works.
And both styles are fun—don’t get me wrong—I’m just saying, we got five types of reactions on the channel, each with their own pros and cons:
Me & Director
Me & Wifey (Erza)
Trio reactions
Family reactions
And my solo stuff
Even how I talk, what I say, the vibe—it all shifts depending on who I’m reacting with. When it’s just me and my wife, I can pause, talk through things, and still keep it concise. She’s not super talkative unless something matters or hits hard, so we flow well.
So yeah… that’s my two cents.
Appreciate y’all. Enjoy the content. 🙏
