*Closed, collected enough* Read instructions Suggestions For After Doom At Your Service
Added 2025-05-13 01:59:19 +0000 UTC**"Just some feedback. I think Doom started off as a straight-up BANGER, but now this lady’s just... sad. It went from dark comedy mixed with sadness to just sadness with a side of dark, and honestly, those aren’t the best for us to react to. You can’t really binge it because it sucks the energy out of the room. We actually save a Doom episode for the last recording of the day because once it's over, there’s no bouncing back from that.
Is the writing good? Absolutely. It’s REALLY good. Does it make us sad? Also, yes! But it’s not like we’re crying or anything—we just sit there staring like, ‘Damn, that sucks...’ And it does. The Trio just doesn’t do sad well. We’ll still watch it, but from a reaction standpoint, it’s just not our thing. That said, it seems like people enjoy our thoughtful takes because we do lock in and pay attention. The story is solid. Shoutout to the B couple... Ji Na Ji?
That’s just my two cents. We’re not done with Doom yet—we’re gonna see it through."**
New K-Drama Suggestions Wanted!
We’re looking for recommendations to replace Healer in our reaction lineup!
How to Submit Your Suggestion:
Format: React to "XYZ," "ABC."
Example: React to "Mr. Queen," "Judge from Hell."
Make sure to include the word React and put the show title in quotes so ChatGPT can process it correctly. Last time, sorting through suggestions was a hassle, and I had to hire someone to clean it up.
What We’re Avoiding:
❌ Taxi Driver & Alchemy of Souls (Copyright issues & long runtime)
❌ Long episode counts or multiple seasons (Too much to record, edit, and upload while keeping up with audience demand)
❌ Slow-paced dramas (If a show is just “okay,” shorter is better—we don’t want to get 7 episodes in and feel stuck.)
❌SAD SHOWS!!!!!
What We Prefer:
✔️ Shorter Dramas: Ideally, 16 episodes, around 60 minutes each (like K2 or While You Were Sleeping (70 minutes is tolerable as Hometown Cha Cha juuuuust makes it)
✔️ Great Stories & Popularity: Avoid just picking dramas based on a single actor—we want engaging plots!
✔️ Variety: We don’t want to alienate certain K-drama fans by spending too long on a single show.
Comment Section & Poll Info:
Comment section will be turned off after we collect suggestions and start the poll. Some people get upset when threads disappear, so just a heads-up!
If you want to leave a more permanent comment, use the chat feature instead.
