So I won't go fully into it. But I'll say that Mr. Baek's random ass gambling habit is most likely a result of the show getting rewritten mid season due to a certain controversy. I'll comment on a later episode once it's obvious what controversy that was

Nothing has changed hahaha๐ I've been wanting to say this for a while now but I had to wait for this episode to say it because it would've spoiled things. I think the Villains are smart but the main villain that's excelling at certain points do because they are not the main focus. At the beginning of S2, Cheon Seojin is Oh Yun Hui's focus so they kept messing with each so Ju Dante was able to make moves and pit them with each other and trap Cheon Seojin in the marriage etc. When they all realize he must've been playing them, all 3 ladies banded together and was able to bring him down... temporarily unfortunately. Because he basically made an enemy out of everyone, he is now everyone's target that's why this season he looked weaker but he's just facing enemies from different directions and with everyone focused on his downfall, Cheon Seojin now was able to make plans in the shadow without anyone noticing. My conclusion is that not one protagonist or antagonist is smarter then the other at the point of S2 and S3, its just a matter on their priorities and what they kept their eye on. Also, everyone stepped up their game in this season cause they all learned their lesson in S1 and S2. That's what made this season's storyline interesting to me ๐
