2025-04-24 04:44:17 +0000 UTCThis drama was the first Seo In-guk (Doom) drama I watched officially; I knew him from (outside of his YouTube channel) two music videos he acted in, those being "Please Don't" and "No Sad Song for my Broken Heart" by K.Will. "Please Don't" is a part of everyone's official entrance into Kpop. Also, this is the 2nd of 3 projects Seo In-guk (Doom) and Lee Soo-hyuk (deep-voiced co-worker/vampire) are in together, they did a drama back in 2014 (they're way too close to being 40) and Doom at your Service and Pipeline (a movie) was released in the same year. Fun Facts!

2025-04-24 00:16:31 +0000 UTCSo the explanation for that cafe guy is basically he ate rice cakes and got sick and because he got sick he couldn't take his SAT (or he failed them) and because he couldn't sit the exam he couldn't go to uni and so he started avoiding her because he was crazily embarrassed so he basically lied to her and everyone else that he was going abroad and yeah ghosted her. Based on what he said about loving her, I'm assuming he meant he loved her so much that he didn't want to show her his embarrassing/worse version of himself (by his logic). As much as what he did was super dumb, immature, and wrong, I can't really hold it against him personally because of the fact that they are now in their 30s and that situation happened when they were like what? 17 or 18. I'm not really rooting for either one of them to end up with her mostly cause it seems so messy and kinda weird since all the feelings haven't been laid out straight and them living together.

I think it was God's way of eliciting an emotional response from Doom for a human being.
