Healers as military medics out in the field, and how traumatizing that is for them that’s even on a bigger scale, and even harder part is military medics choose to go to school, learn to be a doctor and so on and so forth these people don’t get to choose they become an S rank healer they’re just as regular joe and they gotta go and help people at the highest level or whatever level of healer. And they’re always going to see the worst outcomes One of my cousins is a doctor and he has seen the absolute worst things and people see him is a little weird because he’s an extremely good doctor, but he does get slightly detached around people and death and I think It’s because he’s already seen so much of the worst and for him he’s OK with it it never bothers him. In fact, sometimes he’s fascinated by it. We grew up watching House and it’s kind of cool that he’s becoming a real doctor and doing all this. I remember when he was still in school just as an EMT I imagine in their world. This is the way magic healing is except you don’t choose it you’re thrust into it.
