2025-02-25 16:03:35 +0000 UTCFor them there is an argument to be made about how responsibility for their actions rest on their outies and at least they have a chance to plead to end it, they can get small wins like food breaks or human interactions, finding friends, waffle parties, finger protector thingies if they do well. They still have a shred of human dignity. Humans are simple creatures, they can find happiness from smallest things. For Casey, there is nothing. Absolutely nothing, to the point she found meaning in one of her assignments because it involved overseeing someone around multiple people. They probably are using Casey for some kind of brainwashing experiment, we will see...

2025-02-25 14:17:59 +0000 UTCI agree but non of the innies have any life technically, even if they do leave at some point, they all "wake up" in the exact moment they left. So they technically never gets breaks. The weird thing to me is that like you say casey has no emotions, but helly literally spawned in with her personality pretty much done she was always feisty from the moment she awoke. So i think they actually fully cleared miss casey to have no risk of her remembering the accident or something?

She is basically a slave but she literally doesnt even have breaks, let alone a life. Unlike other severed, she doesnt even have an outie seemingly. She literally only and only existss for the sake of the company. And only to make it worse, she probabably wasnt even working long enough to learn how to face human emotions so her emotional capacity is akin to a child. its impossible to not feel bad for her.
