In my opinion, Healer says "I'll give up" when Chae Youngshin rejects him not just because he wants to make her comfortable by gracefully taking the rejection, but also because he is giving up fighting his feelings and his dilemma over whether to even reveal himself to her. He was trying to take the easy route by confessing as Bongsoo, trying to both stay by her side but also not have to reveal his identity and secret. By giving up trying to cling onto something fake, by accepting that she doesn't want him as Park Bongsoo but as Healer, as the real him, he accepts the fact that when she will inevitably find out about him (either accidentally or because he reveals himself), there is a chance that she will reject him or leave him (like all the others) because of his lies -- and choosing to stay beside her, and love her anyways.
You guys saying you're proud of him for confessing like this fits because it was brave of him to take the risk knowing his history and shows how much he changed and grew as a person because of Chae Youngshin.

Cans and papers, I will never get how it's possible to cut your finger in it🤣And yeah, if someone tells me to go to his/her secret place, it sounds weird and I'm too paranoid for it but in her defense, Bong Soo must seem like a lamb to her🤣
