I don't know why but episode like this where any character has to face themselves in some form really makes me happy. I think I mentioned this in another post but the self v inner self is one of my fav tropes in anything. Superman 3 is always my best example of Clark Kent facing Superman. It shows the inner strength of the person/characters ability to overcome or how weak they really are . Either way, it is a good time for all...well maybe not the character, but you get it.😅

2025-01-23 06:57:08 +0000 UTCThis episode was so captivating. Went way beyond simple doppelganger tropes. Can you tear yourself down in order to build up a stronger version? In Hajime's case, he literally has been doing that since the beginning. Yue as a coping mechanism was diabolical but despite the reasoning actually making sense; his feelings were confirmed after their battle with that dragon in Season 1. So glad stuck with this show.
