2025-01-23 12:31:56 +0000 UTCYeah but I think she the dark hold once she beat Agatha. Because I'm thinking Lily did the sigil to protect him also from Wanda and the dark hold. The dark hold just corrupts that much. Which is why she felt the need to destroy it from every universe and why the other universe's Dr. Strange had to die once he defeated Thanos.

2025-01-23 03:19:39 +0000 UTCThat was what I thought, too, when I watched this: The sigil kept Wanda from locating Billy but she could sense that he was "out there" so then she turned to the Darkhold and, "Madness" ensued.

From what I remember, Wanda created the Hex in Westview along with fake Vision and the fake twins (Billy and Tommy), but she used real souls to create the twins. The twins could only exist in the Hex. Wanda destroyed the Hex and basically chose to let her kids go. Right after the Hex collapses, Billy possesses William Kaplan's dead body and survives. At the end of Wandavision, Wanda is searching for her kids using the Darkhold but can't find Billy probably because of the sigil and I don't know why she can't find Tommy. Wanda goes on her rampage to find her kids in other timelines/universes cause she can't find them in her own. She dies and destroys every copy of the Darkhold in every universe. After her death, Agatha is still under Wanda's spell but it seems like she can kinda sense that Wanda is dead. Billy Kaplan is now trying to find his brother and not his mother because one she is probably dead and two she chose to basically let her children die.

2025-01-23 00:57:42 +0000 UTCAlso I think that the sigil blocked even Wanda from knowing who or where Billy was. I think with the fact she knew her kids was alive. The sigil blocking her from finding them and the dark hold influence just caused everything to boil over. Really fantastic way to tie it in and add context

2025-01-23 00:24:30 +0000 UTCActually now Disney does have the rights for Magneto now. I'm curious if they go that route. Feels like they've went so far without it being a main focus I'm not sure if they include it. But they are reintroducing mutants for the Doomsday so who knows.
