Oh yeah, definitely a valid approach, as well. There are story reasons for the art style, but it was also just a fun exercise to use a narrower tonal range. Plus: doing a gradual color shift over sixteen stages with multiple clothing types sounds like more trouble than it's worth, to me

2022-08-06 23:26:44 +0000 UTCAnother approach could be to keep the darker palette, but the color tone shifts with the corruption. Right now it's blue tones (blue having connotations to police), but maybe it blends into reds or another tone as she gets integrated more into the mob.
