Maid into a Cow

Real happy with the minimalist color scheme, here. Color transitions in transformation sequences are tricky. Without some purpose driving the changes, the middle images can end up with uninspiring washed-out half-tones. This is an older piece of mine where all the different color values confuse the eye and somewhat undermine what is a pretty hot story. Conversely, keeping a constant palette throughout a TF can work great by grounding the character while highlighting the changes. This piece is much more effective despite being even older because every step is eye-catching.

Both ideas are combined, here. The color change works because it's conveying something specific: she's moving from cool darkness into warm light. At the same time, her main piece of clothing stays mostly the same hue, which serves to highlight how it becomes shorter and frillier.
