($5-tier) Suggestions for the VR TG animation!
Added 2025-04-10 18:11:02 +0000 UTCHowdy! Thank yall for voting for this concept for the TG animation! I ended up experimenting a bit with doing an animatic in a way that I feel works for my workflow, I think this is a good way to illustrate the general script and pacing of the animation early :D
As I said, I was suggestions on character design/costume ideas, including the final design! I was personally envisioning it as a sorta generic fantasy MMO setting, and the main guy/girl would be designed like a generic "fantasy adventurer" based on an archetypal character class to fit it, but I'd like to hear what yall are thinking in terms of what ends up transpiring! Namely:
The guy's IRL look (before and after he gets TG'd)
The main character/avatar appearance
The glitched-out design?
Perhaps extra suggestions/runner-ups could be recycled for the other party members?
I'm purposefully leaving this a very open-ended post just to hear what ideas yall want to suggest, I'm very excited to hear what you have in mind to make this cute and fun and all that jazz! I'll be keeping this post open until I feel like there's enough to condense into a further poll to narrow design ideas down.

maybe in game initial character was some kinda knightly class, and then after the glitch they end up a magical girl like class? possibly specifically like a paladin class being overwritten with dark magical girl class, with their irl appearance ending up a Japanese schoolgirl

2025-04-10 19:57:11 +0000 UTCAs for specific forms, slime girl irl seems cool. If you don't use my reversal idea, you could have her be a cyberpunk-themed slime, where an overload turned her into computer goop.

2025-04-10 18:48:03 +0000 UTCI had the idea of 'reversal', where the gliched-out avatar is basically just a regular girl in a modern outfit, but the IRL form is in the theme of the mmo.
