My sister came in again from Vancouver for a few days as a belated holiday visit! She wasn't able to make it during the holidays themselves, but it's always very nice to have her around. My time was limited due to some of the fumfering about with art and school and that jazz, but I very much enjoyed my time with her (aside from what happened yesterday where she almost lost her phone after we left a dim sum place, we came back, discovered it was where we previously parked and someone's car had run over it. fortunately it was insured, and it turns out Applecare applies internationally??? lol? either way she got a free new phone just fine and the phone case has a rad tire mark that'll make for a fun story)

Also I took her out to Glendale and got her a late Christmas gift -- I was originally planning on getting her this plushie of the black cat from Kiki's Delivery Service in little Tokyo but it ended up being sold out for a while. So I took her around to see whatever she liked and offered to get it for her. We ended up running into a Pop Mart (a Chinese figurine brand I'm not familiar with but she is and was ecstatic to see in the flesh) and I got her a K/DA blind box. Even better, she pulled the 1/60 chance Prestige Kai'Sa figure! You lose some, you win some :D

anyways some low-key music to recover from the last few days
