Work-in-progress TG CYOA poll 2!
Added 2025-01-03 22:03:27 +0000 UTCSo I received a lotta feedback from my last proposition of different concepts for a text-based TG CYOA, and while it was a close competition, I decided to go with the winning concept of "waking up in a bedroom as part of a TG-ing experiment", and I've been outlining the paths, outcomes, and general logic/design for the project! I've been making a lotta progress in it and I think I found a good system to make it all flow well and lead to various fun outcomes!
However, as I'm almost finished with the outline, I ended up bumping into an issue: I'm actually not sure what POV I should write the prose as lol. Mind helping me decide this? 😅
1st Person: Guy wakes up in a room, narrates internally all the stuff they see, think, and physically experience from their POV.
2nd Person: Guy wakes up in a room framed as "you", describing all the sights, thoughts, and physical changes from "your" POV.
3rd Person: Guy wakes up in a room framed as a subject, possibly by an in-universe observer (the one conducting the experiment?), making observations of what the subject is likely experiencing and what changes/actions are occurring.
Again, I won't be having a deadline for this poll, I wanna see a general consensus.

While I like the idea of it being the in universe experimenter that runs up pretty close to your p.i.n.k. concept so if you wanted to do something different a first person or more positive/less villainous third person would be cool I think
