Updating Patron Tiers and Opening Commissions in December!

tl;dr: This is mostly just announcing new additions to this patreon -- namely the tiers that have been vacant for a while -- and announcing new stuff to go along with it! After a few months of not really doing as much as I should, time to inject more life with art again!

Longer version: To reiterate some longterm plans I've been building up to for a while now: I've been wanting to focus more time on personal projects related to TG/TF and other interests, and in different formats I wanna experiment with (comics, character art, animation, video, music, etc.). At the same time, I also still want to provide content based directly on audience request and reward those who wish to support me monetarily. I've tried my hand at a model in structuring commissions and requests very directly around a monthly structure -- as yall probably noticed throughout the year, it wasn't really for me, and last few months have been hella weird in finding a way to both determine a new way to balance my workflow, but also to reorient myself to a new process that feels both fair to myself and also to yall.

Well, good news! I think I've figured it out, and have a rough draft to share with you before it goes live in a few days for December. I think this will open up a better balance of being both fair to you as patrons and feeling like your investments are worthwhile and duly rewarded, while also being fair to myself in freeing me up from a less rigidly constrictive level of expectation and preventing burnout.

Here's a rundown of the plan for the Patreon:

Personal Projects: Things like my ongoing webcomic (FRIENDS ON ANOTHER SIDE) as well as other art projects that I wish to pursue will be on my own accord.
🌟 Monthly Patron-backed Projects: Remember when I used to do monthly polls to decide a TG sequence? I'm going to be reworking this a bit; at the start of each month, I'm going to be proposing a flexible art project I wanna do, and will allow patrons to help narrow down and decide what that is! It may be a TG comic, it may be a quickie sequence, it may be just some non-TG character fanart -- just stuff that I feel like I wanna accomplish and am very input to fan input and suggestion! Pricing structure will remain similar from before; $5-tiers get to vote on and decide my monthly projects based off an established poll of options, $10-tier patrons can also suggest those options to put on the poll! These sorts of feedback updates will be handled in a very similar way to the past: suggestion/discussion posts at the very start of each month, followed by a patron poll hopefully in the following week, and the completed suggestion before the month's end!
🌠 Guaranteed Monthly Sketches: So I experimented with doing monthly sketches earlier this year, but struggled to find a way to make this feasible amidst my very crammed bandwidth. I attempted to do a lottery-type draw for it a monthly sketch (in the style of Tom Fischbach of Twokinds fame haha) but this clearly was unsatisfactory for a lot of reasons. Now I want to insert tiers where the sketch rewards are guaranteed! Here are the conditions:
- Monthly sketches are for $25 and $45 tiers! $25-tiers receive a half-body/bust sketch (think sorta like an emote/sticker/profile pic), $45-tiers are for full-body artwork. As explained later, these prices are at a significant discount compared to commissioning me beyond Patreon!
- These "sketches" are going to be done in limited colors, but not like the purple-tinted greyscale of before. Instead, they will be in the sorta "quasi black/white + accent colors" scheme, pretty much exactly like how I draw my sona, haha. Colors will be flexible and done based on request.
- In terms of content, they will be very much alike to normal commissions. Can be TGTF-related, or just OC artwork and fanart! Details on content conditions will be ready at some point.
- Due to me not wanting to overreach my abilities like before, I'm initially only going to open 2 slots EACH for the time being. That may probably seem very small (and will probably be very competitive haha) but I'm not 100% on how well I'd be able to handle more. If this is a popular, in-demand tier, I'd much rather take on a small amount of tiers and then gradually increase them later instead of removing slots later.
- Additionally, those who are subscribed to these tiers will also receive a proportionate discount should they decide to commission me outside of this monthly patreon reward. That would include things like "upgrades", like making them full color and with bigger backgrounds and the like.

So very fun and exciting! And as stated, I'm also going to be opening myself up to doing on-demand/discretionary commission projects outside of the monthly subscription-based systems (frame-per-month comics were a fun experiment for a while, but I'm not built for whatever workflow Meowwithme does with their team lol).

Due to what I have planned as regularly content for my Patreon and me not being fully sure of how well I'll be able to juggle many large projects at a time, so please note that my personal queue for taking on commissions will be fairly reserved for now, and availability for commissions will depend on the size of whatever I end up getting. LINEAR TG/TF SEQUENCES:

Single-page sequences depicting gradual transformations, ideal for focus on transition with low story.
SIZE: 3-6 full body poses (key poses can be exported as separate renders)
AVAILABILITY: Approx. 1-2 queued projects at a time
PRICE: Est. around $300 per full sequence, based on a lot of different factors including:
- required prep work
- complexity of character designs
- complexity of background
- level of visual detail
- personal comfort
TURNAROUND: Est. 1-2 weeks, depending on scope of project and queue times.

BEFORE/AFTER TG/TF SEQUENCES:

Two-panel sequences depicting a before and after of a transformation, compressed visual option!

So.... yeah. A lot of things going on. I'll post these in a more visually appealing visual thingy come December when these changes are live, but for now, I think yall are entitled to know of what I plan on doing right now. I've been very in my own head for the last while trying to determine what looks like a good balance for me the creator and yall the audience and supporters, and even with all the speculation and consulting with friends about this, I'm still very nervous in feeling like I'm asking for too much, haha.
