Idea for a non-TG horror story I wanna do:
Added 2021-09-20 20:00:43 +0000 UTCA Junji Ito-style nightmare story based on this bad dream I had:
Day 1: someone discovers a giant hole in the middle of a field that appeared out of nowhere, seemingly leading into a bottomless abyss.
Day 2: more holes start appearing in the ground
Day 3: holes appear in a nearby village, consuming all the foundation and other stuff originally on top of them
Day 4: more holes appear in populated cities
Day 5: holes appear ON buildings and other natural structures
Day 6: holes start appearing on people and consuming them and turning them into nothingness
Day 7: 🕳️
I once read the Wikipedia article that describes holes as a concept as "ontologically parasitic" and that's honestly freaked me out so much that I kinda wanna in the future make my own Uzumaki-esque miniseries about this. dunno if it'll be too jarring and uncomfortable coming from me though lol

Definitely creepy. Though if it turns everything into nothingness doesn’t that kind of make it not an ontological parasite anymore? Since there’s nothing to be it’s host.
