Maverick's partner: ideation
Added 2022-12-09 13:53:54 +0000 UTCWhat's been teased now is here. Meet our new android character. I'll introduce them via notes, and their conversation with Maverick. I've also left notes in the picture - thought it would be a shame to only leave his design and cut off everything else.
Maverick: I want to hire you. Not as a slave. As a partner.
Red and black android: A partner?
Their first interaction.
Maverick knew through what effort they got their freedom.
He knew the "slave" part all too well.
Maverick: I'm not a fighter. But you are. Lend me your strength. In return, I'll grant your wish.
Red and black android: My wish? Human. What are you talking about? I do not understand you.
Maverick: What's your name?
Red and black android: [my name?] Just... call me Red.
Maverick: Would you like me to give you a name?
Red: [hesitates with the answer. Remains silent]
Maverick: Good.
Red: [confused. Still silent]
Maverick: [smiles] Will you join me? Will you become my partner?
Red: [still confused and now concerned] is that some sort of a trick? A trap?
Maverick: Not at all. [Continues wholeheartedly smiling, reaching his hand to Red] Will you?
Red: [not reacting with his body to human's gesture. With a delay in the answer] Yes.
