Veylus: sketches (v.12)

So, I been thinking that matrix cities are pretty much scattered all across the Assa system, and as I remember, Veylus is a food hub, i.e it provides farm lands, clean (almost, except salts) water and a ton of edible stuff for the system and beyond.
Also, those pillars/peaks/mushrooms are actually a living organisms, they form a crust out of atmospheric salts (planet's average humidity is 75%-100%) which protects them from parasites and some of the local, not less parasitic, animals that are more than happy to feed themselves on sweet, and a bit sour, insides.
