2020-07-17 10:33:17 +0000 UTCI wouldn't say I need "quick growth on YouTube." More like I need to stop sitting back and just watching the growth happen on its own. I love making the content. I'm not great at self-promotion, but if I want to eventually make this a thing, I need to think more like it's a business in addition to the content/art aspect. I need to be more purposeful in my efforts to grow, if that makes sense. But since the day job is still a factor for the foreseeable future, I have to be careful what I add to my workload and try to keep a balance going.

2020-07-17 10:32:55 +0000 UTCI don't actually have any bloopers. All of my audios are recorded in one take, and my scripts are so tight that I rarely stumble over my words. The worst I do is cough sometimes and then cut that out. I've been asked for bloopers before, and I kinda wish I had some, but nope.

My channel hasn’t seen much growth in the ten years it’s existed, but you have a much larger following that’s growing daily. I think that your channel is gonna be a success story should you decide to go that route, and we’re with you all the way.

If you need quick growth on YouTube there needs to be some kind of video component. An active avatar or some kind of interesting visualization that goes along with the story. You could go old school and have a small claymation set. It wouldn't have to be complicated or realistic. You would need to offer something more for higher tiers. Maybe a chance to do a live reading of one of your classic scripts on discord with the tier actually speaking the listeners lines? Something that makes the patron feel connected and special in some small way. All you really need to do is keep doing what you like and it will continue to grow slowly. Your skill and talent are self evident. Just be you.

Thank you for taking time to explain. We'll supprot you Ree, that's for sure. As for getting things done and doing math. May I suggest (if you haven't already) to discuss this matter with those who's already doing this as a second or even primary job, if you have anyone like that? To check on how new patrons trend looks like over longer time, how often patronage cancel occurs, what is seasonal Impact. Most probably you've already done that, but better safe than sorry :) Maybe one more suggestion for tier reward: books reading. I kinda liked previous experience. And, perhaps, it might even get you additional profit in long-term - good audiobook is not that easy to find as it may seem at first glance. Another option: regular access to bloopers of when you're doing audios. There are some, right? Parts that were cut. Raising a curtain on working process and letting us see how things are cooking is quite a reward.
