Help me name the Elf Bandit!
Added 2020-01-03 03:53:54 +0000 UTCHey, all - got a new character coming up, and she's an elf bandit who needs a name. If you would, please vote below, and if you have a better idea, comment.
Note: the below options all have stories behind them, so let me know if you'd like to know those before voting.
Thank you!

2020-01-03 15:09:17 +0000 UTCOK, so... Bianca and Ivory are from the Germanic etymology of the word "elf," which seems to stem from "white" and was probably originally translated as "white one." Olive is for her eyes - I imagine these elves as green-eyed (natch). Willow is for where she lives - this elf will be a woodland one, and willows are very lovely and expressive trees. And finally, Nimue... The Lady of the Lake in Arthurian legend, but also the one who ultimately traps and imprisons Merlin (though to be fair, he wouldn't stop with the unwanted advances, depending on which account you read). This character wouldn't be THE Nimue (that one left when Arthur was taken to Avalon at the end of his life), but she'd be named for the original.

2020-01-03 10:12:30 +0000 UTCI know for a fact that Nimue is one of the names attributed to the Lady of the Lake in Arthurian mythology.
