2025-08-12 12:28:16 +0000 UTCI know im a bit late but to me the biggest takeaway from this show is someone is always better than you, so dont hold on to that "whatever" it is in your head or your heart. If David really wanted to do anything for Lucy, it should have been to get out of night city with her. Really reflective of all the posturing and doubling down and all this toxic bs that is rampant in today. Buncha choombas, all of them.

2025-08-09 01:18:06 +0000 UTCAmazing reaction as always, I completely agree though that this show can be a bummer to watch. Its hard to finish for me most of the time. Glad to have watched it this 2nd time through with the Volume 1 crew. I agree it was pretty apparent from around mid point in the show there was no happy ending in sight. One of my biggest gripes is that our MC is affected by cyberpyschosis and yet we see other people in the show not suffer similar consequences such as Adam Smasher. That really rubbed me the wrong way but the final nail in the coffin for me was the killing of Rebecca, the 1 2 punch of her death and David totally ignoring it just put a bad taste in my mouth. Those major issues aside, the music was fantastic, animation was top notch and character design soo good... but man, is this a tough sell for me to recommend to peeps IMO.
