These episodes were pretty interesting, they are definitely doing more with the character development and sci-fi world building here.

2025-06-22 09:21:38 +0000 UTCLoved the reaction and how much your appreciating this telling of the story. I too truly love how much it expands and adds to the original story. We already got a more in-depth look at Wolfwood's back story and motivation. He is already a way more fleshed out character after less than half the # of episode's, which lets be honest isn't hard considering how light the original anime was on backstory. The point still stands that with all these extra backstories and the story stopping to take time to breathe and explore the world, creature's and people living in it, what a breathe of hot desert air it brings ;) . They really approached the story in a different way this time and I'm happy with just about all of it. One topic touched on that I wanted to add a little to was what Kni produces, while its not explicitly stated it was "shown" to us and all one has to do is make the connection, we already saw what he can create in episode 3 when he took down the city. Remember his cloak? Remember how he destroyed the town? That for me told me without words exactly what he produces. Its a great case of show and not tell that is later expanded upon when we are told that Plants all produce something with the exception of Vash ofc. Its also think it heavily influenced or it is the reason for his anime original name of Knives which in this version is shortened to just Kni, maybe he adopts the full name later. I genuinely dont remember if that happens so that last bit on the name is just speculation. Keep up the great work and I cant wait for all the upcoming reactions, it really only gets better from here.
